How To Draw Butterfly Mandala Art
Butterfly Mandala Art with Step by Step

Step 1: Draw Butterfly Outline
Start making clean and neat butterfly outline. use pencil to create outline if you are expert in drawing then you can start directly using pointer pen.
Draw body part of butterfly with reference line. don’t create any details of body like hairs and eye details etc because we only need outer line. after making outer line you can turn it into dark shade.
Create cross intersecting line for reference and use this reference to create wing outer line. for best result use scale to draw or directly you can intersect by using sketchbook corner area. for for details refer below figure.
Similarly for down side wing divide bellow intersecting line exactly with mid point and draw straight line.
Now it’s time to design wings outer line. by help of intersecting line start fine line path curve and connect with point on intersecting line. use pencil to sketch and make sure your pencil have sharpness. butterfly wings have symmetrical wing so mark point on same distance.
Present outer line with different line pattern like straight line, curve line, wavy edges, varied coloration and much more.
Similarly for down side wing use same tips and trick.
Step 2: Creating Sharp Butterfly Line
Use 0.5mm pointer pen and over lap on pencil line. 0.5mm pen gives your butterfly outline smooth finish and sharpness. if you are expert in drawing then directly use 0.5 mm pen and make your drawing buy if your are not expert then use this technique. but most of in butterflies drawing case reference and pointer line design make your drawing perfect and symmetric.
Now erase all reference line and make your final outline design ready to Butterfly mandala Art.
Step 3: Create Mandala Art Pattern
Draw flower thin pattern and start growing from internal point of wing and expant it toward the outside.
At the top of flower design create dark dot in the form of circular pattern. in case of thick design use 0.5 mm pen and for thin pattern use 0.2 mm pen or you can choose it according to you.
Mandala art have lots of freedom. so imagine your creativity and design different pattern. some case if your are looking for big pattern, design that time using pencil to set it and then overlap with 0.5 mm pen.
we use mehendi leaf pattern. its very easy to draw as well as available different pattern on internet.
Personally i like small and big dot pattern. I use then to create continue effect on border line.
