Step By Step Draw Trippy Butterfly Drawing

Step 1: Draw Rectangle
Draw 12.5 X 10 CM rectangle and divide vertically into two equal part. intersect corner and find the centre point of rectangle. from the side of edges keep 1.5 cm distance and draw perpendicular line. for more understanding refer below figure. follow size can vary according to your requirement. you can change size by simply apply multiplication factor with length and width.
Step 2: Draw Body & Outline
After completion of geometrical construction start making drawing of butterflies body. in Trippy butterfly Drawing we convert butterfly head portion into eye and abdomen into pentagon pattern. we create three pentagon which becomes small one by one.
Before starting wings of butterfly we mentioned point by using alphabets to understand the users. we keep rectangle name as ABCD and for perpendicular line mentioned as A’, D’ & B’, C’. for wing outline start curve line from eye corner and end at the point A’ & B’.
For upper wing outline pattern you can choose your favourite outline pattern but following figure is very simple and easy to draw. continue A’ line toward AD’ line like wavy line. similarly do for other site and complete outer layer of wing.
Now start making down site wing. we simply draw it in form of circular and stair case pattern. you can use French curve to draw this kind of pattern.
To look more interesting we create squiggly pattern on down side wing which gives horror and optical illusion effect. draw it with free hand technique. its look like a melted wax slow falling downside.
Step 3: Refill Outline and Erase Reference Line
Use 0.5mm black pointer pen and start refilling over the pencil line. keep in mind avoid refilling reference line only turn outline of butterfly into black border.
After completing refilling process erase all reference line and make figure clean and neat.
Step 4: Draw Geometrical, mandala, Psychedelic, Optical illusion, Zen-tangle and doodle art Pattern.
At the down side of wing create zebra pattern or zen-tangle pattern. draw it exactly falling side of wing. make sure use pointer pen and draw it in the form of rough free hand.
At the centre point make circular zen-tangle pattern which create depth illusion effect which is best identity of Trippy Butterfly Drawing.
For upper side wing create bumble bee pattern effect, geometrical figures like circles and ellipse. don’t draw perfect circular shape always go for free hand technique.

To create neon effect use yellow highlighter pen for base and create shadow effect by using other pencils. we personally create this effect using same technique but keep in mind this will work with only some specific colour like light green and dark green, orange and blue colour shades.
Use multicolour for butterfly body. for perfect colour combination use colour wheel help you to make perfect colour combination.
In empty space we fill neon yellow highlighter colour which look more vibrant and looks good. but you should turn this colour into vibrant green shade which is actual our Moto. so use green colour pencil and start filling green colour lightly
zen-tangle pattern fill other colour in empty space. in first ribbon use light blue colour, for second use tangy orange colour, in third one use purple and last ribbon use light pink shade. this colour ribbon separated with black colour and that why this combination looks amazing.
upper side wing from the edge of corner spread yellow highlighter toward inside. use your favourite colour for circles and make it more attractive. don’t rough yellow highlighter on black line which can be causes black effect and spread with highlighter ink.
create leaf and flower pattern effect. you can choose Mandala Art for butterfly. for leaf use green colour pencil and similarly create effect with yellow highlighter as done previously.
Create rainbow colour effect with multi layer ellipse or choose colour combination according to your choice.
Step 6: Final Touch
At the end use yellow colour pencil and fill remaining portion white portion. highlighter colour and yellow colour perfect settle with each other. use 0.2 mm pen and mark small fullstops patter with layout of wing edges. now your final Trippy Butterfly Drawing becomes completed.
